Our precious Thea died on October 24th 2007, just less than 2 days shy
of 37 weeks. She was a very active baby and unwittingly spun around in
the uterus more often than her umbilical cord would allow. A twist was
found in her cord at the entrance to her belly button. This twist stop
the blood supply to Thea and she died very quickly. Thea was born the
next day after 24 hours of labor. Tests done after birth showed Thea
was fully formed, including her lungs; she was truly full term. Thea
did not look much like the in utero pictures we had been viewing for
so many months. In actuality Thea was the spitting image of her mom,
Nadia. She had a full head of thick black hair, thick black eye brows,
Nadia's nose, and full lips. Anyone who looked at her clearly saw her
mom. Thea will always be in our hearts and we are sure her spirit will
watch over us until we meet with her again.
Thea was cremated and then buried at sea off La Jolla Shores in San
Diego on November 8th 2007, Latitude: N32 51.200 and Longitude: W117
17.157
